Known issues

  1. Using templates or references still requires knowledge of markup.
Changes to these functions will not be made for 1.0 due to time constraints.
  2. Diff view shows HTML in right pane, even though it saves as wikicode.
    Resolvability unknown.
  3. Most still-useful buttons are disabled in markup mode.
Pending. Probably will not be fixed in time for testing. Small issue, shouldn’t affect usability much as most people who edit in markup don’t usually use toolbar buttons anyway.
  4. Blockquote is a little quirky in WYSIWYG mode.
Pending. Probably will not be fixed in time for testing. Small issue, shouldn’t affect usability much.
  5. Paste button works differently in Firefox – opens dialog to paste text into rather than pasting it directly.
Unresolvable. This is an issue with Firefox security prefs; can be disabled with extreme difficulty on a per-user basis: see here.
  6. Resizing an image using the “grippers” on the sides and corners of the images in the editing interface will resize the image within the edit box, but not in the saved article.
Resolvability unknown. We’d like to make it work, but it might be easier to figure out how to disable it rather than to make it “translate.”
  7. Using the indent button creates an indent in the editor as expected, but that indent does not “translate” to the saved page.
    Pending.
